New York Giants Get Playful With Scatman Reference For Cam Skattebo Draft Pick

The New York Giants have brought back some serious 90s nostalgia to celebrate one of their newest additions to the roster. In a playful Instagram post, the Giants referenced the iconic 1994 hit “Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop)” by Scatman John with the caption “ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop ima scat man” to welcome running back Cam Skattebo.

Adding an international flavor to their draft coverage, the Giants have been posting content from Berlin, Germany. Former Giants stars Victor Cruz and Brandon London have been part of the coverage, welcoming Skattebo in a live segment from the German capital as the NFL continues its global expansion efforts.

The team’s presence in Berlin coincides with the NFL’s growing international strategy, which has included regular-season games in Germany over the past two seasons.

Skattebo isn’t the only draft pick generating excitement. The Giants have been active throughout the draft, with posts highlighting various other selections.

While the Giants’ social media team is clearly having fun with Skattebo’s name, the running back brings serious talent to New York.
