The Jacksonville Jaguars have added defensive strength to their roster by drafting Notre Dame linebacker Jack Kiser with the 107th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Jaguars announced their selection through social media, highlighting Kiser’s reputation as a “tackling machine” during his time with the Fighting Irish. The team’s Instagram post showcased their excitement about adding the Notre Dame standout to their defensive unit.

Kiser, who wore jersey number 24 at Notre Dame, established himself as a reliable defensive presence during his collegiate career. The Instagram image shared by the Jaguars displays Kiser in his Notre Dame uniform, emphasizing his tackling abilities with the caption: “A tackling machine outta @ndfootball.”

The linebacker joins the Jaguars’ 2024 draft class as the team continues to build through the annual selection process. Jacksonville made the announcement official with a dedicated post stating: “We have drafted LB Jack Kiser with the No. 107 overall pick!” The post included the team’s signature “DUUUVAL” rallying cry, a reference to Duval County, where Jacksonville is located.

Notre Dame Football’s social media also acknowledged Kiser’s selection, posting: “Developed in South Bend, drafted to Jacksonville.” Another post from Notre Dame confirmed: “Jack Kiser is a Jaguar. With the 107th overall pick in the 4th round, the @Jaguars select @jbkiser4, linebacker, Notre Dame.”

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional American football franchise based in Jacksonville, Florida. Founded in 1993 as an expansion team, they compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the American Football Conference (AFC) South division.

The team plays its home games at EverBank Stadium (formerly TIAA Bank Field) and has experienced both challenging seasons and playoff runs throughout their history. Under owner Shad Khan, the Jaguars have worked to build a competitive team with a mix of veteran leadership and young talent acquired through the draft.

The selection of Jack Kiser represents another piece in the Jaguars’ ongoing efforts to strengthen their defense and build a playoff-caliber team. With his tackling prowess and Notre Dame pedigree, Kiser will look to make an immediate impact as he transitions from college football to the professional level with Jacksonville.
